Crushing some reds

This machine makes it much easier and faster than our earlier days of treading the grapes. Each grape was plucked from the stem by hand back then.

Pressing the juice

Great helpers emptying the last of the must into the press.

Bottling the wine

One bottle at a time is how its done in this boutique winery.

A very frosty morning.

Pruning is the next cycle in the vines, along with whipper snipping and fertilising, and then it happens all over again next summer.
